The world No 3 and tournament's top seed put on an absolute masterclass under the Centre Court lights, demolishing American Madison Brengle 6-3 6-0 in just 58 minutes. It was the perfect start to 2018 for Wozniacki, who fully intends to make it fifth time lucky by finally winning the title in Auckland.
