Two storms hit Auckland on Friday night, one from the skies and one from Melbourne and they were equally damaging.

The Warriors were defeated 26-10 at Mt Smart Stadium, to record their first defeat under Stephen Kearney's tenure as head coach. No side dominated the rain-soaked tussle, but the Storm proved too ruthless in their execution, nabbing four tries to two and grinding out the two points.
