As a top-of-table clash between St Kentigern College and Mount Albert Grammar School, intensity and atmosphere didn't disappoint, but nerves show in the opening half as both teams tried hard but had little chances, with the wet weather condition, handling errors were all over the park.

It only took one breakthrough though, as Rivez Reihana of St Kents crosses for a try in the second half and finally held on for a hard-fought win on MAG's home ground by 8 to 3.
