Andrew McFadden admitted the Warriors took a backwards step as they fell back into losing ways with a disappointing display against Manly at Mt Smart.

Any momentum and confidence built from back-to-back wins over the past two weeks was wasted as a clinical Sea Eagles outfit capitalised on an ill-disciplined and error-ridden display from the Warriors and with Manly's physical approach they outmuscled the Warriors pack throughout the contest for a 34-18 victory.
