The New Zealand women's team has beaten Australia to clinch a 2-1 Trans Tasman Trophy series win. It is an impressive comeback considering they lost the opening game of the series 6-0.

Kirsten Pearce scored for New Zealand after just three minutes and then in the 19th minute Sam Harrison showed an impressive level of commitment and skill to make it 2-0, with Olivia Merry scored to push it out to 3-1 with 12 minutes to play.
